Swoop to Nuts

After all the extra effort expended for our 2004 Winteractive Coaster, we decided to do something a little more focused in 2005. After working through a number of concepts, we hit on the idea of a squirrel gathering nuts for the winter. From there, it was an easy leap to a flying squirrel battling against the fading seasons to swoop up as many nuts as possible.

In addition to the online version of the game, we sent out over 300 build-your-own squirrel kits to clients, friends, and colleagues as part of our traditional holiday message.

We knew it was a fun game and everyone told us how much they enjoyed it. Then other game sites around the world started linking to the game, some of them even swiping our file and adding it to their own site. The traffic began to rise and before we knew it, our little squirrel game had become something just this side of phenomenal.

Since we launched it in December 2005, over two million people have played the game worldwide. And every day, there’s more.
