Good things happen here.

Two New Projects

9 September 2009

Fusionary recently got the go-ahead to redesign and rebuild the Details Inc. and Kalsec sites. We’ve worked with both Details and Kalsec before, and we are delighted to be partners yet again.

Both projects involve a redesign ensuring the new sites mirror current branding efforts and improve overall usefulness for customers. The sites will also be built on new content management systems, making updates much easier for them both.

We’re excited to get to work!

Welcome Guys!

9 September 2009

Fusionary would like to officially welcome our two newest team members: Brandon Satterlee and Nathan Bryan.

Brandon is a graduate of Kendall College of Art and Design’s graphic design program and has four years of experience in print branding and advertising. Looking to expand to web projects, Brandon joined Fusionary as a designer. Along with Rex Rainey, our senior designer, Brandon will be creating various designs and graphic solutions for our clients. He’s done some great work already and we’re happy to have him around.

We also welcome Nathan Bryan to Fusionary as a web developer. He has professional experience as a .NET developer and is looking to transition to Ruby on Rails development. He joins Jason Stewart, our lead Rails developer, to create custom solutions and develop web applications. We are looking forward to having him on board.

Baker College Site Launch

24 July 2009

We recently launched a new site for Baker College that shows off their commitment to career-focused programs. The Career Explorer we created connects each of Baker’s programs to potential careers and provides descriptions of the field, career facts including salary ranges, required experience, projected job growth, video testimonials from professionals, and more.

We are really proud of the work we did for Baker. The new site has more interesting, useful, and appealing content; an improved design; and a stellar content management system. Check it out: www.baker.edu

Happy Birthday to Us!

15 July 2009

It was 14 years ago today that Fusionary was incorporated. Since then we’ve worked hard and stayed busy, so it may come as no surprise to hear that we’re spending today with our noses to the grindstone. But don’t feel bad—we like it and we’ve got a little celebration planned for a few weeks from now.

Thanks to our clients and colleagues who helped make it possible.

Welcome Back Casey

4 June 2009

Casey DeSmet spent last summer with Fusionary as an intern working as a writer and helping with user experience analysis. She did a fantastic job with everything she touched and now that she’s done with school, we’re delighted to have her back as a full time employee.

Casey graduated summa cum laude from Michigan State University with a BA in Professional Writing and lots of experience working on web projects. She will be putting her degree and emphasis in digital and technical writing to use as Communications & User Experience Specialist at Fusionary. We’re not sure how good she is at Super Chexx or Call of Duty, but she’s darn good at everything else.

Welcome back Casey.

Festival of the Arts Website

28 May 2009

We are proud to announce the launch of another great site. Donating our time and talent, we designed and built the new website for the Festival of the Arts, giving it a fresh look and feel. The site has tons of useful information, an event schedule, news, and weather all built on a powerful content management system allowing the site to change and expand (and making updates easy!).

We are excited to be part of this great tradition and be involved with the Grand Rapids community. Check out the site: www.festivalgr.org

A new project - Jarob

2 April 2009

Fusionary is working with Jarob, a producer of commercial graphics and signage here in Grand Rapids, to build an extensive new order management web application. This new application will allow Jarob’s customers to easily place and track signage orders as well as streamline Jarob’s internal workflow and planning process.

Hastings City Bank site launches

19 December 2008

New Site Launch: Hastings City Bank

Fusionary is proud to announce the launch of another site. Hastings City Bank selected Fusionary to help improve their web presence – and that is exactly what we did. We upgraded their design and restructured content to make a more visually appealing and intuitive interface. Hastings City Bank lacked a content management system that allowed for easy updates and additions to the site. So, we built the new site on ExpressionEngine, a powerful content management system that will make maintaining their site much easier.
